Visiting this website (server log files)

When you access this website, the web host automatically stores data in what are known as server log files. This usually comprises the IP address, the date and time of access, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, the browser used including its version, and the operating system.

Purpose: technically flawless delivery of the website and the security of our IT systems.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation).
Retention period: add once the host is chosen, typically 7 to 30 days.

Add the processor (web host) with name and address once hosting is settled. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR must be concluded.

Getting in touch

If you contact me by email or telephone, I process the data you provide — such as your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry — solely in order to deal with that enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention period: until your enquiry has been dealt with, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply (in particular seven years under section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code for accounting-relevant records).

This website contains no contact form. Only the data you actively send me is processed.

Local storage of the theme preference

If you choose a light or dark theme using the switch in the navigation, this preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key klarchitektur-theme so that it is retained on your next visit.

This is not a cookie: the value is stored exclusively on your device, is never transmitted to the server and contains no personal data. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings. If you make no choice, the website automatically follows your operating system setting.

What this website does not do

• no web analytics and no tracking (no Google Analytics, Matomo or similar)
• no advertising or marketing cookies
• no externally hosted fonts, map services or social media plugins
• no disclosure of your data to third parties for advertising purposes
• no automated decision-making or profiling

All resources of this website are served from our own server. No connection to third-party servers is established.

Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data is passed on only to the web host as a processor and, where legally required, to our tax advisers and the authorities. No transfer to third countries outside the EU or EEA takes place.
